I run a software consultancy. This is where I teach what we do.
I founded and lead Accelerate Tech, a Microsoft partner that ships data, automation, integration, AI and software for Australian organisations, including government, with real end-to-end projects, deadlines, security reviews and users who depend on it working, day in day out.
I was architecting and building software long before AI could. AI makes the building fast, but it’s the software development foundations underneath - architecture, source control, testing, deployment, support - that make it hold up in production. That combination is what I teach, and what a lot of content creators don’t, simply because they haven’t got the experience doing it themselves.
Here it comes in three forms: free builds every week on YouTube, a paid course (coming soon) with the full method end to end, and me and my company directly for implementations. There’s no community to join and no content treadmill to keep up with. As much as I’d love to build a community, I simply don’t have the time running multiple businesses and projects. How we use AI for software projects at Accelerate Tech: from ideation to production.
Plan
Scope the problem, pick the architecture, and make the decisions that save you rework later. Most AI projects die at this stage, before anyone has written a line of code.
Build
AI-assisted development on proper engineering foundations, with source control, worktrees, tests and reviews. The AI is what makes it fast, and the process is what makes it reliable.
Deploy
Ship to Microsoft Azure with CI/CD, security that passes an IT review, and documentation your IT team will accept. A prototype on your laptop only becomes a product once it gets through this stage.
Support
Monitor it, iterate on it, and prove the value once real users depend on it. This is where software starts earning its keep, and where most AI builds quietly fall over.
